Nicolás Hernán Gonzalo Otamendi (born 12 February 1988) is an Argentinian professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester City and the Argentina national team as a central defender.

In his professional career he played mainly for Vélez Sarsfield and Porto, winning eight major titles with the second including three national championships and the 2011 Europa League.
